The Tall Man is waiting. Mike needs you.
The Morningside Mausoleum was never just a place for the dead. Behind its marble walls and iron gates, the Tall Man conducts his work — reshaping the departed into twisted servants, commanding silver spheres that patrol the endless corridors, and bending reality to his will.
Mike Pearson stumbled into the truth as a kid. He saw what no one was supposed to see. And now the Tall Man has him — pulled back into the mausoleum, held somewhere in the upper chambers, guarded by an army of hooded dwarves and the deadly sentinel spheres.
Reggie is the only one left. Ice cream vendor turned shotgun-wielding survivor, he has been fighting this war longer than anyone. He has lost friends, lost years, lost almost everything. But he has never lost his nerve.
Tonight, Reggie pulls the Hemicuda up to the mausoleum steps, racks a shell into the four-barrel, and walks through the front door. The marble floors echo under his boots. Somewhere above, the Tall Man watches. The spheres are already moving.
Get Mike out. That is the only thing that matters. But first, the urn must be destroyed. The Tall Man has bound Mike's prison to a golden urn hidden in the mausoleum — smash it, and the chains break.
On desktop, use the arrow keys to move Reggie left and right and to climb ladders up and down. Press Z to jump. Press X to fire the shotgun.
On mobile, use the directional buttons to move and climb. Tap JUMP to jump and FIRE to shoot.
Each level is a single screen of the mausoleum. Before you can rescue Mike, you must smash the golden urn on the opposite side of the top level. The urn holds the power binding Mike to his prison — destroying it breaks the spell and frees him. Both Mike and the urn are housed in alcoves with red curtains. Once the urn is smashed, reach Mike to advance.
Enemies are introduced progressively. Level 1 brings the Dwarf Servants. Level 2 unleashes the Sentinel Spheres. Level 3 introduces the Gravers. Level 4 sends the Hearse. Level 5 is the Crematorium, where the Tall Man must be defeated. After level 5, all enemies return with Sentinel Spheres always present, and spawn rates increase each cycle.
Dwarf Servants emerge from barrel stacks scattered across the platforms. They are small, hooded figures with glowing red eyes that walk relentlessly toward you. One shotgun blast destroys them. 50 points each.
Sentinel Spheres fly in sweeping curved paths across the screen, entering from one edge and exiting the other. Their bladed spikes face the direction they travel. In later levels they begin tracking your position. One shot destroys them. 100 points each.
Gravers are slow-moving zombie-like figures in brown clothes and gas masks, carrying shovels. They patrol back and forth across tiers, entering from one side and exiting the other, creating obstacles the player must navigate around or destroy. They take three shotgun blasts to destroy. 150 points each.
The Hearse drives across a random platform at high speed. It cannot be destroyed — avoid it at all costs. The furnaces in the Crematorium are also deadly — touching one is fatal.
The Tall Man towers over the top level of the mausoleum, flanked by two silver columns. He does not move, but touching him is fatal. He commands the enemies, and as levels progress, his summons become more frequent and more dangerous.
On each level, two pairs of silver columns appear on different platforms, glowing with purple energy. Stand between a pair and press Up to teleport instantly to the other pair. Use them to cross the level quickly or escape danger.
Destroy a sphere: 100 points. Destroy a dwarf: 50 points. Destroy a graver: 150 points. Smash the urn: 200 points. Rescue Mike: 1000 points. An extra life is granted every 10,000 points.
Stay moving. Standing still lets enemies close in.
Learn the ladder positions. They are your escape routes and your shortcuts. Press Down to climb down a ladder from a platform above it.
Do not waste shots. The shotgun has a cooldown — time your shots carefully.
Prioritize gravers. They take three hits and patrol relentlessly.
Use the portal columns to cross the level quickly — especially useful for reaching the urn and getting back to Mike.
Avoid the Tall Man. Touching him is instant death.
The mausoleum is open. The Tall Man is waiting. Reggie would not have it any other way.
