About This Album
A special Halloween treat! Music from Karver's Korner: Karvin' Up a Storm is a spooky-themed soundtrack album released in October 2020. Continuing to be inspired by lifelong friend Mike Duke's Halloween-themed carvings and roadside attraction ideas, this album is also a tribute to some of Andrew's favorite spooky albums from the 1970s. Remember the old Halloween-themed records you listened to as a kid? This album is a perfect accompaniment to hanging decorations, handing out candy, and all other spooky-themed activities.
The eleven tracks draw from the fantastical chainsaw-carved world of Karver's Korner in Ellijay, Georgia, bringing its witches, goblins, trolls, ogres, and haunted creatures to life through atmospheric electronic compositions. Guest musicians add organic textures throughout — Ed Rogers on guitars, Eric Sands on bass, Jonathan Mayfield and Andy Wall on guitars, and Ken Mills providing narration and vocalizations that bring the characters to vivid, eerie life.
